Steve Baba is a writer and freelance film critic. He was born in California and has lived all over the USA as well as London, England. Steve watched movies as a child and into adulthood, amassing over 1,000 movies watched so far in his lifetime. Steve's favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, and he has an extensive film library, a collection of 1,000+ DVD movies. He enjoys writing, watching movies, and spending time with his best friend, who is a retired cook. Steve's favorite beverage is Milo. As a writer, Steve has numerous books published in poetry and prose. He is working on a memoir of his travels for the last 14 years.  Steve's book of film reviews, Sitting In The Dark : Film Reviews Vol. 1 will be out in June 2026.
